Hey guys,

I will now write in English cause the French Translation will be available in my travel blog only. This to avoid creating duplicate content in a way or another. Forgive my English, I'm just French 😅

My digital nomad life

I've been traveling since Jan 2016. Started with India for almost two and a half years. I became a freelancer last February 2018 and as you can see I've been living in Asia since then.

➊ Now 🇵🇭
➋ Coming 🇹🇭 🇨🇵
➌ Previous 🇹🇭 🇮🇳 🇲🇾 🇰🇭 🇸🇬

So what did I miss since my last post?

When was it? Wooow 10 months ago. BTC was valued around 6k $ and yet, nobody would except that it will reach 3,2k $ and then rise till almost 9k $. But we aren't here to talk about crypto. I'd like to post every week about my lifestyle and especially where I am and what I'm doing!

Where am I?

Right now, I'm in the Philippines. It's a nice place but you need to be careful.

Here are the points you should watch out:

  1. You must know how to control yourself and say no to hanging out with your friends. * Else you gonna end up partying every day, going out on dates every day and overeat.
  2. You will get annoyed because the WiFi (basically the internet connection ) is not so good out of the big cities. You can travel only while it's the weekend or when you don't have work... If some work is coming, it will be difficult to stay near this white sand beach then!
  3. A street food meal will cost around 1$ if you really eat a lot
  4. Beware of SCAM. Especially through dating app. Nothing happened to me so far but I'm very careful about who I'm meeting and when. Those profiles who text you "Come, I'm waiting for you in my apartment" screams "You gonna end up in a bad situation" and the best that can happen is your cash will be stolen when you're sleeping

The cost of living in the Philippines is similar to Malaysia. In Cebu City, accommodation is a nightmare. It's very costly. Simple condo; a single bedroom and a living room with a kitchen; in a recent building offering a swimming pool will cost you around 480$ a month (without electricity and water bills).

How do I do to sustain myself

I will talk about this point later. Just FYI, I'm a freelancer and I work as a marketing digital specialist. My fav areas are e-commerce and digital strategies. I'm also a writer for Quora (a member of their Program Partner). I run a small spices business on Amazon. I write content for various topics: Crypto, Traveling, Aquascaping (soon) and whatever I have in mind.

Ask anything you want to know

Just feel free to comment and ask whatever you wanna know about my lifestyle. I'll be glad to answer some of your questions next week :)
