Nootropics: GABA

This is an interesting supplement that I have been taking for a month now.

I started taking it before bed to help me sleep. Ever since I took them, I have been having insanely vivid dreams! I can remember what I dreamed about even hours after I wake up. Also, I found it easier to wake up in the morning.

I thought I could benefit from increased levels of growth hormone, since I like to lift weights. I did manage to reduce my body fat percentage from 15% to 13.3% while taking this, but it is hard to tell whether or not GABA supplementation played a role.

Great to hear about, have you noticed any increase in strength upon using?

Yes, I was able to increase my strength considerably in my key lifts such as squats, deadlifts, incline dumbell press, pull ups. But the thing is, I have been training only in the 8~12 range for a long time and recently started to use the 1~5 rep range. I think the change in rep range was the main reason for my strength gains and the ability to maintain muscle mass while cutting. It's hard to tell whether or not GABA's effect on growth hormone played a role in this.
