Typical Norwegian Food
Eating in Norway can be a quality dining experience, but you must be clear that the prices of food there are quite higher than in our country. In fact, in general life there is more expensive, and eating in a restaurant can usually leave from thirty euros per person.
Fish-Salmon
Norway is a place with a very cold climate, and a great volume of its gastronomy is occupied by its fish. Salmon is the most famous and perhaps one of the contributions of this country to the cuisine of the world. The exports that make of this product to any part of the planet are very high, reason why in many places we will be able to find salmon of these zones.
Cod
Cod is a product that has been exporting from Norway to the whole world for centuries. It is one of those foods that the Norwegians feel proud of, and the truth is that the climate and conditions of this country make this animal grow in unique conditions.
Sweet
Waffles are very typical in Norway. For those who do not know them, it is a waffle, but with a shape that allows them to be folded to eat with one hand, as if it were a sandwich.
They are often filled with strawberry or raspberry jams with an intense flavor. They can also be taken with the cheese that we mentioned, the geitost or brunost, since as we have commented, it is a very sweet cheese.
