i think korea was separated because of two big country(USA:China), we were one country 70 yrs ago. but forced to be separated by big country( it was communism vs democracy) we were and are avatar, south korea : USA, north korea: China. they made a war in our country instead of their lands. korea is important because of geopolitical aspect. and USA is helping south korea to control china power
