Hello Steemians,
Sometimes you just want your image to be crisp, sharp as he**, have amazing bokeh and a gorgeous color rendition , but does it have to be a high end piece of equipment to archive this?
Over the years I've had a lot of fun converting old lenses to Canon EOS mount and then try go get the most out of them.
The image below is made using an old x-ray machine lens that's converted to EOS EF mount (Canon)
If you have done similar projects I would be thrilled to see your work!
Thanks for reading and take care.
Best regards, Erlend
Wow that makes for a really dreamy image
Thanks @allowisticartist
Yes, the very shallow depth of field does make it look dreamy. The sharp focus plane in this image is in the sub mm range...
Oh man just realized I was not following you yet, glad I found you looking forward to more outside the box images.
So cool I never thought of all the different lenses one can use when thinking outside of the box.
Hi,
Thanks for the follow. :)
I followed you back of course
More images and outside the box thoughts coming up.
Have not done anything like this @Erlendgroseth.
But if you remember, we have talked about getting me a lense also.
Maybe it is time for us to go looking around on eBay for one?
Hi @gyldenhorn
Sure, happy to help you find one and convert it for you.
