Couple of days ago I Startet to plan and research how to wire up my new ECU (engine control unit) its a maxxecu pro control unit (www.maxxecu.com) that I got from RFS PERFORMANCE.
It's a lot of wires! But with a little patience and a lot of soldering it will hopefully start the engine when finished! Haha...
I'm taking away all the original Mercedes AMG wiring and replacing it with the wiring harness that came with the new ECU.
The reason I'm splitting everything up like this, is because I want to figure out what wires are signal, earth and 12v.
Looks messy, but when you start to split the wires and follow them to their contacts/sensor etc its really easy to understand what's what!
Anyone here done something like this before?
Stay tuned for more about this project and follow @hamlander

I admire that you are capable to do this your self. If I should done that whit my harley engine it would never have run again
Haha! It's fairly easy to do, you just have to research and plan thoroughly! 😁 but then again if you know how to do something, it's easy😀😀 Harley engine should be the same as this engine, my engine just got more cylinders and therefore more injectors coils etc
