you don't say much about your photos Erlend. I guess you thought that your photos can speak for themselves without you explaining much. but I really like how you composed your photos they seem to be very magical, so unreal . congrats. i have seen a lot of photos but yours is so much different. maybe by following your posts I can learn something from those... or may be not because of the kind of equipment you use. but anyway congrats and more power to you. cheers!

Hi @lifephilosophy
Sorry for the late answer and thanks for the heartwarming comment.
Well, my images have an voice of their own, that said there is of coarse a technical side to it as well. I'd be happy to share what ever you want to know. I have not used any expensive or exotic equipment in this shot. An old 5d and a sigma 150 macro. (you can pick one up from eBay for 450 USD.)
These days I use a Canon eos M5 and M3.
One thing I noticed that I do that maybe not all photographer do is that I use something in front of my main focus point. Some grass, leaves or maybe a colorful petal, this way I can introduce a lot of colors to the image without adding any details. Set the lens to manual focus - focus on what ever you feel will be your main interest point and then hold something a few cm from the front element of the lens.
Sometimes when I'm photographing outside the light changes dramatically in only 10 minutes, wait and see. Shoot the same subject over and over. There is going to a huge difference. ;)
Cheers, Erlend
