Ever wondered how Norway can make so much electricity from hydro plants?
Wonder no more!
I'm sad to say we didn't capture the worst, which was right before @sparklysnowflake managed to pick up the phone and video it.
It rains over 250 days a year. It can get pretty tiresome.
We won the race for most rain again in 2016:
Most rainfall during the year: Haukeland–Storevatn, north of Bergen: 3417 mm
Most rainfall in one day: Opstveit, south of Bergen: 144,0 mm, 8-9 august.
It's no wonder Bergen then looks like this 5 minutes after the sun comes back:
Have a great evening everyone!
Stay tuned @wooly
Great pics! The power of water is a great source of energy for electric generation.
