Oh dude! You just took me way back. Almost 20 years actually to the Y2K era. As soon as I saw Kim, I took off to YouTube to look up this track—as soon as she released that one I was like “who in the heck is Lil Kim?!” I went down to Warehouse Music (remember that place?!) and bought her cd (remember those things?) and was blown the F away to hear her put it down the way she did—nobody had the ...... to say it like she said it.
Hey man, I shot you an email just before we split Costa Rica, did you get it? By the way, was I in the wrong spot or what? Method and Red don’t just hang out around Times Square? 😏
Thanks for stopping by @weirdheadaches.
Awesome man :). I remember when cds first came out, we were all mind blown, no more tapes lol. Funny, my cousins son was riding with us and we kept saying "yeah you remember that tape" lol. His kid was like what the heck is a tape haha. I did the same with 8 tracks lol. I actually have a nice set of 8 tracks lol. Forget which car i had that actually had a working 8 track player lmao.
I did read it, thanks for the mention. Crazy stuffs. I had a reply that somehow didn't go through. Ill try and scroll back through later this evening. Hope your travels are running smoothly. Ttys ✌🏿
I’m just glad you got it dude—no worries. Man, when I tell people I had Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock n Roll” on 8 track they’re like.. “she wasn’t around when 8 tracks were out. I’m like “look it up!!” They don’t believe me and I’ll tell em “Crimson n Clover was on side B.” I’m the dumbest guy in the room until they ask google. 👍🏿 Na! Na! Oh yeah.. Joan Jett On 8-track. Man, that’s an awesome memory. The push button player with a turntable on top. You had one in your car though.. gangster! You’re my hero.
🤣🤣🤣
