We have not lost our power yet (knock on virtual wood) but the temps have really dropped and the wind! It is battering our old Toad Hall tonight and the windchill is negative zeros. We are told Monday we shall see mid 40s F, but I'll believe that when I see it. I moved the quail closer before the storm and yesterday was up to my ankles in the spot where they are closer to the house. Today I could have skated to them, instead I slid slowly on my wellies to their hungry mouths. I guess we cold North Easterners are just built of stuff to take the cold. It sounds as if you are having a good time of it tho! I wish we could have been a fly on the wall of your jam sessions! Keep warm and safe!

I'm so glad to hear everything is going okay over there so far and the feathered family is good too! I hope it warms up soon and the winds calm down, this is the worst January I've ever seen out here!
