Im still very new to digital currency, so not a big investment, but an investment none the less. So how much did i buy...?
A$110 of bitcoin - or a whopping ฿0.025 !
The truth is after scrolling through so many btc posts on steemit i got really inspired. I want to keep learning as much as i can and make well calculated decisions further down the line. Did i arrive to the game late? Possibly yes, but i cant turn back time - so i think the best time to start is now.
Maybe il leave it and forget about it for 20 years, who knows what digital currency will be worth then!?

Since posting this i have further reinvested another A$650 into BTC around the 3700 mark and placed a few orders on ALT coins > $10. Heres to the learning phase and watching bitcoin soar to the moon! :)

Yes! ive been thinking about all the gamers years ago who maybe used bitcoin playing WOW and other games, who have an idle 50 BTC in their accounts they just cant get in because of passwords etc! The day after i posted this i reinvested another A$650 into BTC around the 3700 mark and its already been close to 4000!
As for the altcoins - dabbling in BTS, OMG and ADT. Nothing serious while i get a feel for it though.

I also got in the game very late but I've been buying a few different coins here and there when the price is at what I see as a decent buying level. I started pretty small and the largest bitcoin buy I've made was right before the hard for August 1 and it was about 0.25 BTC. I paid cash for about 2/3 of it and traded some other coins in for it on the last day of July so I could get more Bitcoin Cash. I've since traded most of it for other coins as I've seen a good short term return on it.
I've also started to buy STEEM as it's at a relatively low price compared to the past couple of months and I use most of it to power up. It's interesting to see how much the value of my upvote increases as I grow my account.
I don't know how high Bitcoin will go but even if you only hold 0.02 it could give you a great return if it goes to $50k or even higher as some have speculated it will in the coming years. Good luck to you!
Sound logic my friend. Im looking to invest into steem over the coming weeks and use it to power up, rather than play the markets. If BTC hits 10k id be stoked, but as you say, some speculate 50k and some reckon it will go to the moon! Im keeping a good size portion long and maybe look to trade small % in the dips to make some short profits. Best of luck to all of us!
You're not early, but it's not at all too late as I see it. Many people are predicting bit coin will go to $10,000 or even $100,000. Who knows ?! Don't risk more than you can afford to lose, Enjoy the game without attachment, and maybe turns out crazy gains.
Exactly, ive also just done some small investments into altcoins because their prices are >$10 and some even >$1. If one of them goes even 10% of the BTC price il have made a sizeable amount!
