how do you find this music @drakernoise. Is it recommended on spotify or something or do you know these bands?

I've been listening to music all my life even before I was born hahaha, blame my mum...

My sources are varied , when there was no internet ( yeah it was a time...) my mother, magazines, radio stations (mainly those illegal ones from Madrid), shops and friends were my main sources.

Today I have even more :

• more friends,
• more magazines ( Rockdelux[http://www.rockdelux.com/], Mondosonoro[https://www.mondosonoro.com/], etc..),
• more radio stations ( Radio3[http://www.rtve.es/radio/radio3/] my preferred ),
• Streaming services like Spotify, Bandcamp, Soundcloud... and
• Internet wich is a full library but my preferred sources are :

It sounds like we started out in the same way @drakernoise but, to be honest, I listen to very little music nowadays, especially since my daughter left home.

Not sure why. I just seem to gravitate to peace and quiet more. 😊

Peace and quiet have also it's hidden music : rithms, melodies that can be heard if you keep enough quiet and silence. I love silence because of it's music, could sound odd but I can "listen" to many different kinds of silence some of them very deafening...

Sometimes it's only about to listen to the "perfect" music for your mood. I normally start listening to songs and then change them (no pity) to another one or maybe to another album or author till I find the one that fits best my state, that also helps me to revisit my library (mainly in Spotify ) and enjoy the good stuff.
