You will lose your friends. Your family. Your job. Your house. One by one as they catch a peek of your disease. Without any adjustment to your behavior, you’ve become someone completely different. You become an outcast. You don’t know this person the world thinks you are, all you know is they don’t serve your kind anywhere. Graciously you disagree with, but accept their opinions and the consequences of, as they cut off your life support.
Who would wanna live in a world like this anyway?
In the corners of bathrooms, you hide, after sneaking around to acquire a little peace of mind. You can go years without a single suspicion, but don’t let them catch you in this moment of zen. An uncontrollable predatory fiending skin will be the shell the light reflects unto their eyes. Suddenly, you are the enemy, and the only way back is to submit to their portrayal of you and to confess all your sins every day so they know you’re a good person now.
And all you do is center your mind and paint pretty pictures in the privacy of your own home. Something you should surely be punished for, for the rest of eternity.
