I just finished Pacific Rim: The Black instead, it's a Netflix animated show that comes after the second movie, which I re-watched recently. Recommended only to mecha fans I guess 😄
The second movie is meh, the animated show though doesn't hold back. The studio which made it also has Knights of Sidonia under the belt, which is one of my favorites. Their animated CGI style may seem jarring at first glance (especially if you start with Knights of Sidonia) but you get used to it and learn to appreciate it
