TOO funny @scrawly. Well not really all that funny. Just initially struck me as being funny. And when I asked myself: 'Why is this so 'funny' to you Ally?' I realized that I've never actually seen anyone express that a woman's face can be compared to the moon before. I've always seen the moon as representing feminine energy rather than being the actual face of a woman.
BUT I LOVE IT. When I was a kid I used to be called 'Moonface' and I absolutely HATED it. Moonface was one of the characters in Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree and I had what other kids considered to be a round face.
Nowadays I would take it as being the highest compliment ~ 'Funny' how thoughts and attitudes change. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
I understand you perfectly. I'm not sure why being a round face is not a good feeling, I know that my cousin and a few of my friends have this face shapes and they always try to lessen the roundness using hair style and makeup and some even consider plastic surgery. While on the other hand, the Japanese, Chinese, Persian, and many others have phrases that praise women when their face resemble the moon o_O;;;.
It is indeed funny that what's up is down and vice versa. I reckon people with weight would be happier with their body images if they are born a few hundred years ago.
Hope they got over the crazy notion of plastic surgery. Yes it's a crazy mixed around world but I guess that's what makes it so interesting. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
