Let me share one of my art works with you.

It’s a painting of a butterfly using water-soluble crayons and watercolors for the background.

Here is the step by step process.

  1. I first made an outline of my butterfly.

  2. Then, I made a colorful background with a dripping paint effect.

  3. Next, I colored the wings with white, pink and purple.

This is a pretty butterfly drawing, @artmom, I love how you use purple primarily on the wings, because it contrasts well against the more colourful background :)
