I finished painting this small painting of the view from Mt Bledisloe in the Bay of Island, New Zealand. I started painting this art work outdoors en plein air and then I added more detail to it in the studio. I painted this art work in oils.
Bay of Islands, 20cm x 30cm, oil on canvas, painted en plein air to start with, detail added in the studio.
Congratulations! This artwork is excellent. 7 ART tokens have been sent to your steem-engine.com wallet.
Please use the tag arttoken in your future artworks for a chance to get more art tokens for your artwork. I am trying to build a community for art and reward works that are great.
Please also consider buying some art tokens, all money raised will be used to build a bot that rewards art tokens to the art community and hopefully a steem art website.
You can buy the art tokens on steem-engine.com, help support the vision and mission! And be a art token holder!

Thanks!
Thanks @mentalhealthguru :)
Absolutely magnificent, I adore the way you separated space. It is very effective to layer the hills in a beautiful atmospheric perpective. I love how your trees are interspersed in such a way that it creates a strong rhythm to the painting. Job well done!
Thanks @edouard :)

WOW, when I was scrolling threw the posts I thought this was a photograph. You are very skilled with the brush my friend. How long did it take you to finish this work? Do you have any shots of the work in progress?
Thanks @jacuzzi, I started this painting outdoors en plein air and then I completed it in the studio which took about eight hours.
I am writing a blog post on my website in which I will be posting a step-by-step guide on how I painted this and I'm hoping to post it in the next few days.
