Hello friends. As everyone knows this year the new reboot of Hellboy is released, with the performance of David Harbor, to be honest I do not like this new image much and I prefer Hellboy 2004 of the delivery of Guillermo del Toro, but hey, that's what things currently. I wanted to make him a Fanart because despite everything he is my favorite superhero. He is the hero of the bad children.
Process.
Use a pen for most of the drawing, I almost never draw with this element but I like it. I started by the nose with very long lines and leaving a halo of light, to give it enough relief.
The great thing about drawing with a pencil is that it creates uniform contrasts by just doing several lines, I think it is because of the variation of the ink when it decreases on one side and on the other it becomes stronger.
I was ready to begin coloring the eyes yellow, because the old Hellboy has yellow eyes.
I made the eyes yellow and by their surroundings they put black to give it that feeling of darkness. And the hair also draw it black, I like it a lot as it looks.
The horns I wanted to draw very red, I remember that at the end of the first movie, when you put your arm in the portal and grow, I always liked this scene, is my favorite.
Already finished. This is my first drawing of 2019. I recently saw the new trailer, and I did not like it very much, specifically for the modifications that were made to the character in things as unique as tobacco that changed to candy for children who will surely see the movie, and with that, other things, we have to wait for the film and judge it complete. Anyway, this is still my favorite super hero.
