Hello, friends!
The drawing contest from @ntopaz gives me an incentive to try techniques and materials. Today I draw with graphite pencils. I have a sketchbook set, but I usually used it to make simple sketches for watercolors. Today I will try these pencils when drawing a kitten.
I didn't have time to take a photo of the process on my professional camera, or scan the drawing in the process, so the usual photos on my phone....
I use graphite pencils HB, B, B3 and kneaded eraser (putty rubber). I like this kind of erasers.
I drew a sketch of a kitten. Marked the contour of the muzzle and eyes.
Then I began to draw short strokes kitten hair on his head. I drew eyes and a kitten's nose.
I'm starting to draw hair on the kitten's body. My kitty is striped so I draw dark stripes with a B3 pencil
I drew a kitten. It's easy, but long. Then I started drawing a wool ball.
My drawing is ready!
Cheers
Veta

Really nice! You captured the expression in his eyes very well.
@veta-less oh WOW I LOVE this kitty drawing! So so cute 😍😍
I hope one day I can draw a kitten as nicely as you ((:
Cute kitten! Did you have a model, or were you just drawing out of your head?
Well done, again! A simple moment that is so classic.
Are you drawing on a garden table?
Thank you for your kind words! I am very pleased! The question about the garden table because you saw the last photo? This is a paper background that simulates the boards. I like to photograph my drawings on it)
Yup, the boards. Thanks for clarifying that ;) I am into such background lately.
Such backgrounds with boards are popular for Instagram photos :)
Awesome progression shots - I love seeing the kitten emerge on the page! Beautiful work, @veta-less!
So different to your drawings but it's beautiful! I have already told you that but I really enjoy that you can do so many different things ;)
Очаровательный котенок! Классная работа!

That's really good! You have the talent for drawing. I've never been very good at drawing. lol.
Lovely drawing. And such a cute kitty. I like to see the steps in how the art progresses. Kitty looks ready to pounce on the ball and start playing.
SWEET! I love all the detail :)
The kitten's eyes are so sweet.
Too cute @veta-less. Great job.
What a great drawing. So glad you found a good contest to try your hand at. I'd like to suggest my daughter @lightfootedbird take a look.
