The San Esteban National Park also includes part of the coastal mountain range in the Carabobo State, Venezuela. Isla Larga has an estimated area of 54 hectares, and is located fifteen minutes by boat from Quizandal beach. It is the only island in the park that allows free access to tourists, since it is under a special administration regime of the San Esteban National Park Superintendence.-
To the south of Isla Larga you can admire white sand beaches, reefs and mangroves. The north coast, on the other hand, is rocky, with waves that constantly beat the rocks violently.
Venezuela is a country that has many islands, one more beautiful than another, and among them is Isla Larga: located off the coast of the state of Carabobo, Puerto Cabello, and that along with the Islands of the King, Santo Domingo and Alcatraz they are part of the San Esteban National Park.
The island offers a variety of marine life and beautiful corals around the German freighter "Sesostris", sunk in 1940 after a riot of the crew and an Italian cattle boat, which are called "wrecks", and have become artificial reefs that house a varied underwater fauna.
