El 6 de abril de 1893, andy bowen y jack burke tuvieron en la pelea en la cual fue la mas larga de la historia del boxeo, duo 111 rounds(3 minutos cada una). les tomo 7 horas y 19 minutos hasta que el referi declaro un empate despues de que ambos contrincantes estaban tan dañados y cansados que nisiquiera podian regresar a sus esquinas.
