Benefits of Yoga and Meditation

Hello everyone, what about your weekend? I hope you have rested and are active for this week. To start the week light, I decided to leave this post and talk about two new disciplines that I want to incorporate into my routines, YOGA and MEDITATION.

YOGA: if you are a beginner, I recommend you to have help from a professional or trainer, since as you use many muscles at the same time, one bad posture or movement could hurt you.

Here are some the benefits:

Toning every part of the body: regular practice increases the work capacity, creating in turn greater resistance.

Creates flexibility: maintains a young body is through a proper stretch.

Goodbye back pains: when acquiring toning and flexibility, an upright and effortless posture is established.

It brings benefits to health, studies show that if you have a consistent state of well-being when the mind and body are balanced.

Improved blood circulation.

Yoga postures deepens and extends concentration, memory and attention.

Emotional stability: contact with the inner self gives us perspective on life and isolates the mind from alterations.

Patience: gives tranquility and tolerance to the mind.

Integral and progressive development of mind and body: facilitating the expression of potentials of your potentials and strengthening self-esteem.

MEDITATION: this practice can be done or not guided by a professional, you can do it at home, on the beach or anywhere that gives you peace, but it is a discipline that needs a lot of concentration and to clear your mind, calm if this you do not achieve it at the beginning (I have not achieved it the few times I have meditated) the important thing is that you try and that when you finish you feel at peace and happy.

This practice gives you:

Mental rest, calms the mind and free it from daily worries.

Clean the mind to make it more creative.

It stimulates the areas of the brain assigned to happiness.

Stimulates the immune system and defense mechanisms.

It releases stress and anxiety and allows us to remain in a state of well-being.

It enhances the state of concentration and memory and increases intellectual abilities.

It reduces the Arterial Pressure.
