Scratches and Kills
Hello everyone.
We men of all ages have the violence in our DNA.
We men kill our fellowmen, while animals are not violent in nature and kill only for nourishment.
Battle is a form of ancient violence and combat.
The term battle comes from the Latin language which he called battualia the fencing of gladiators and soldiers.
Today I share a scene from an ancient battle, which was commissioned by me.
An oil painting on canvas that I prepared with cement and glue.
A strong theme that I deliberately make almost monochrome with soldiers fighting with each other.
The part I have preferred is that of the "scratch" technique.

I used a spine from a Hystrix Cristata, the classic porcupine another wonder of nature, and I scratched the surface of the painting in several parts.

Graffi e uccisioni
Ciao a tutti.
Noi uomini di ogni epoca abbiamo la violenza insita nel nostro DNA.
Noi uomini uccidiamo i nostri simili, mentre gli animali non sono di indole violenta e uccidono solo per nutrimento.
La battaglia è una forma di violenza e combattimento antichissima.
Il termine "battaglia" deriva dalla lingua latina che chiamava battualia la scherma di gladiatori e soldati.
Oggi condivido una scena di una battaglia antica, che mi è stata commissionata.
Un dipinto ad olio su tela che ho preparato a cemento e colla.
Un tema forte che ho volutamente rendere quasi monocromo con dei soldati che si combattono uno con l'altro.
La parte che ho privilegiato è quella della tecnica a "graffio".
Ho usato un aculeo di un Hystrix Cristata, il classico porcospino un'altra meraviglia della natura, e ho graffiato la superficie del dipinto in più parti.
Un risultato quasi come una tecnica di stampa ad incisione.
Spero che il mio dipinto vi piaccia.
