Unless they have babies as then nothing can come near them.

So they will not hesitate to attack you if you get near their nest? That would make a great post too. lol.
Nope, if I go close to their nest, which I can't as it is in the top of a very high palm tree, but if I could, they would both attack me and then abandon the eggs.
The bombings are just scare tactics my friend.
