Sometimes im in the subway/train station and i just phase in and out of reality, I just stare blankly into the distance and sometimes view things from a third person view and just daydream. As I take 3 hours to get to the city one way to study I cant help but get sleepy and the blurs of this image i made felt just like those very moments.
Process time!
I started with a simple background, very very blocked in shapes I just want the composition just right with shapes before detail
Placed in my figure quickly
I render the background more, its looks more like boards even though its a a train zooming by but it still works for me!
Add a light blurred shadow with the multiply layer
With the luminosity tool, add in some scratched lights for an ambient effect
Render the floor, give it some detail
I was gonna detail the floor with the circle bits the floor has like a train station does but it detracted the attention from the character so i rolled with abstract shapes
Blur things chaotically to lead the eye eventually pointing to the character and we're done
