The Alice Millar Chapel on the Northwestern University campus in Evanston, Illinois is Gothic on the outside and contemporary on the inside.
The stained glass windows are breathtaking.
And a couple of photos of the organ for @organduo

The Goths really had to build joy when they built their churches.
😀 This is one of the joyful ones!
I think I might be missing the gargoyles a bit...
You are right. You can never have too many gargoyles.

It is a beauty. It would be wonderful to be able to visit it
It is lovely and they have lots of weddings there
Thanks for taking these fascinating organ photos. Always nice to see people look not only at the altar or stained glass but at the instrument as well. !organduo 500

Thanks so much! I only wish I could have heard it played. Years ago I attended an organ concert in the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris and it was an unforgettable experience. Maybe I can attend one here someday!
I had a contract to perform at Notre Dame in Paris last summer. My wife @laputis - next summer. Sadly, the cathedral burned down...
So beautiful on the inside Melinda. It would have been wonderful to be inside this church.

That is a lot of stained glass. It actually reminds me of the huge cathedral in Prague, because of the lighting from all those windows. Very pretty. It would be interesting to see how the light changes throught the day. If it gets direct sunlight at dusk or dawn, the colored light filtering through would probably be blinding... and also pretty. Nice job with the photos, especially that first one with the pews. Getting wide angle shots without wonky perspective is not easy.
Awww, thanks! I was thinking it reminded me of being in the Sainte Chapelle in Paris! Color everywhere! It is actually hard to get into this place because of the constant weddings.
