I have seen that CERN opening ceremony before and it is absolutely some deliberate ritualistic tribute. I think that the elite and their secret societies put a lot of stock into rituals and symbols to help them achieve their goals, whatever they may be, power/wealth/control/etc.

And yes they love numbers, rituals etc, you only have to look at the amount of false flags on 22-3rd for that, 322 masons and all, and the figures of dead or injured always seem to be symbolic too.
The only thing that has kept them in control is the Fiat monetary system though, regardless of the imaginary rites and pretend sacrifices, and when that ends, so does their turn at ruining the world, the bible prophecy they think they are playing out, may actually bite them in the ass. :-)
