The awakening of a passion # 1: My nature (Story).

This will be the first in a series of stories I want to share about the passions, their importance and how they have gotten into this complex and hostile territory that can sometimes be the mind.

Love life and do not fear death, because life is a cycle and therefore no one can tell you where it begins or ends.

Is nature a passion?

One that undoubtedly will never cease to exist in you, if you let it in ... and for that I invite you to ask yourself, how is something so beautiful, like life itself, not part of our passions? Have we ever thought about it? Why do we like the outdoors or travel ?. It is because of the unconscious desire that runs through our veins like an unstoppable flow of curiosity.

The romanticism that can characterize us at a certain moment leads us to imagine a night sky full of stars and constellations, a spring forest covered with flowers and songs of birds, even think of a sunset by the sea. All of this is part of that same desire that, at times, we are afraid to show for fear of criticism.

My father often says in the house "if it's not fun, do not do it", if we analyze this phrase more thoroughly, it's not complex, it's not long, maybe it's not famous, but there is power in it, it invites us to be ourselves, to love what we want and to always smile in the process. Some people argue that, from the point of view of psychology, nature in general, does not feel, that plants do not feel, that animals do not cry or laugh, I tell them here and now they are wrong!

Look deeply into nature and then you will understand everything better. Albert Einstein.

And now a little history.

While I have said that life is a cycle, I realized that I was in it practically since I was born; I may have told you before that I grew up the first 4 years of my life in the family farm with my grandparents and my parents, without siblings, without cousins with whom to play more than in any eventual visit during the month; Right now you could say that my childhood was solitary, but it was not like that, I just had to adapt in a different way.

Already in context, I will tell you how I have adapted to that, pets have been faithful companions throughout life, from having many dogs and cats to horses, these friends who do not speak, understand you and always give you their love. All this added to strict rules on the care of the gardens and lessons on how to plant and harvest your own food gave me an identity that right now, I am proud and happy to have.

Growing up in nature not only made me love it but to understand it and respect it like never before.

It was also for me the compulsory learning cycle of life, and how death can become energy for the new that springs from the ground. While most children learned to read with illustrated stories, I did it with books on plant physiology and animal genetics, at age 5, I cried for losing a pet, but I understood why it happened, does it sound hard not? It is only part of mother nature and how balance is made.

Please, do not misunderstand, my childhood was very happy and rich in so many aspects that money or material did not matter, as long as it was in the peace of the countryside.

What is the importance of all this?

Those who know me will know that I do not usually express myself emotionally, this is perhaps due to loving so much time in silence, despite talking to pets or flowers, love is shown with actions while they are being cared for, respect and attention Living so much time isolated in nature has its advantages and disadvantages, like everything in life.

The important thing about this lies in the strengths that are developed by constantly building a better being every day. It is true that I did not enjoy certain trivial things of most children, but how many of us, today, respect the environment as it should? the best environmental education is living the experience of abundance and beauty of the nature itself, it is also logical that not all of us were born to be lovers of the environment, but at least, we owe respect and a minimum of thanks for the simple fact of having the privilege of being alive a second more.

After growing up, it is also vital to maintain that curiosity and respect for life.

Passions are important because thanks to it we learn, we live from it, and through it, we feel the desire to continue in our daily life. Follow your passion and never abandon it if it makes you happy! Doing what we love will make us great.

Today I make a special invitation to not feel afraid to be criticized, what does it matter what others think if we are doing the right thing? a clue to know what is right is what really makes us feel good, that simple.
