Some usefull tips for new Hearthstone players. This is my second post about Hearthstone, and I really think Blizzard should start paying me now. (also tempostorm.com)
On my first one I focused on some tips on how to build your collection without spending any money, and how to anchieve a decent rank in order to earn more dust at the end of the season. In this blog I'll talk about what to do to get a good start and the best cheap decks you can start with.
Tips:
1- Install the game on your phone.
It was a while when I first opened Hearthstone, for the first time, so I don't really recall what they give you, but I'm pretty sure they throw some free packs at you. Blizzard will give you some more free packs, if you open the game on your phone, for the first time aswell. (need some confirmation on this one) I think they still do it and every little bit counts 😊
2- Monster Hunt missons.
Monster Hunt challenges have been added to the solo adventures menu, in the last expansion. You should play them and get those free Witchwood packs. As the heros get harder and games take longer to finish, you can just win 3 or 4 and give up and play from the beggining, the first fast games, just so you don't get too bored 😁
3- Frozen Throne
Also added to the solo adventure menu, lays the Frozen Throne expansion. The expansion features a total of eight Missions which take the player through Icecrown Citadel, culminating in a battle with the Lich King himself. Completing the Missions will reward a total of three Knights of the Frozen Throne card packs and a random Legendary Death Knight Hero card.
This alone will give you enough dust (meh, maybe not) to build a competitive deck.
Competitive "cheap" decks
Odd Rogue. Only 5120 Dust. And Also my version, which is better ^^ and slightly cheaper
Rogue is probably the most complicated Hero to play, due to the weapon synergies and the timming you got to have, in order to play your cards right. Not rocket science but still, complicated for new players. So here is a mage deck, around the same price.
this decks are only good in standard mode, if you wish to play on Wild, You can build way more competitive decks for less dust
You can finish anywhere you want with these decks, especially the paladin, just depends on the amount of hours you are willing to put in a card game 😁
I hope anyone finds this usefull at all 😂 😂 😂 😂

Any advice for new deck compositions after nerf changes? Even Paladin and Warlock seems a lot weaker now.
Control priest for standard. It's good against anything out there. I guess Paladin will still be strong with "call to arms" just not the even or the odd version.
Great initiative.
Getting back to Hearthstone can be daunting, with the rate they are releasing new stuff.
I have stopped since just after Old Gods came out and now I feel a bit lost
This post is a great starting point. Thanks for posting!
