Hey everyone!
OCD International has been growing steadily and is now covering all these languages: German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, French and Indonesian. After recently inviting 7 new curators to the English team, I will have 2000 SP left to delegate and wanted to move forward with inviting a couple more curators for the Japanese language.
The Japanese Community is growing fast (currently in top 5 of traffic) and compared to many of the other Asian languages it seems to be one that's lacking in curators and support the most and OCD wants to change that. For today will be looking for 2 Japanese Curators to add to our team and hoping that in the future we will be able to increase the International team even more.
We are very excited of the news shared at Steemfest about native languages being added to the UI and the official mobile app that has yet to be released and are hoping to be able to cover as many languages as possible until then.
OCD is a manual curation group of over 30 curators, we strive to find undervalued posts from unique authors that may have gotten missed and give them a second chance at attention by presenting their work in our articles while at the same time supporting them. We are very transparent about our operation and encourage other manual curators to earn more curation rewards by voting on our nominations which are unique most of the time and not covered by automatic upvotes.
As someone not in the team you can help us and the authors by checking out their posts through our articles and at the same time find posts and authors you might be interested in for the long haul.
What your daily activities are as a curator
- You search for original content posts (no plagiarism) that are undervalued (under $10 rewards) and nominate them for curation on our discord channel.
- You vote on other posts by the other curators in the team to choose which ones make the daily compilation post. (also on the discord channel)
- Since only a couple of you will be able to understand that language, the person in charge of writing the post that week won't be able to write descriptions to the post themselves so the curators will have to add short descriptions when nominating it. Preferably in both the native language and in english. (More info on that on discord later)
Reward distribution
50% of the SD from the daily multi-language posts go to all (language) curators and 50% to the ones whose nominations make the compilation post.
50% of the SP remains with the account but you get a stake in it depending on your nominations and activity. When you decide to leave the project you will receive your share in Steem/SP.
There will also be a bonus 1000 SP delegated to each curator while they are involved in the project as well!
Apply here in this post if you want to become a Japanese Curator in our project. Being able to speak english is also a requirement.
Bear in mind that we will vet your account to make sure you are the right user for the job.
Thank you for your interest and reading.

Patience is a virtue. :)

Dude, did you take Chinese language curators? I guess Chinese users are more compared to Japanese ones. But yeah it's good to have curators from many languages.
They are not according to traffic stats.
How can I see traffic stats of Turkey ?

Wow, great job keep up the good work you have my upvote & resteem
Can I have a suggestion? I personally suggest @yadamaniart, he almost posting everyday. But I have to say I don't know Japanese, just can see his photo XD
Thanks for sharing the post because this post is beneficial for both the undervalued steemian and the new curators
Also beneficial for all the steemians because this will also help to make steemit better.
Wow, really that many Japanese users? I felt like there were so few. I speak Japanese but I'm worried I won't be able to do consistent curation. I will certainly check out the curated posts. I've been thinking of ways to engage with the Japanese community, whenever I post in Japanese I get comments mostly from non Japanese who have studied the language.
Even though I have been around Steemit since May 2017 - I was only marginally aware of OCD curation project. With much of my focus being on growing the Steemit Minnowsupport radio station @msp-waves, my posting acivity was liimited to show announcements for the most part.
That said - if there are Steemians from Japan or Asia-Pac in general, and if you're interested in brodcasting during Asia Pac times in English - please contact me.
I hope @adicyo will forgive me for spamming this great post.
I can be reached via our Discord MSP/PAL Server
