Hi all my Hive friends, how are you today? Are you having an awesome weekend or up to nose with stacks of works, papers, documents, reports?
Whatever situation you are in, take a deep breath and look out your window to see the trees nearby dancing with their leaves, perhaps they are having a good fun, so why don't you do the same:smile or laugh if you want, life is funny though.
I am a big fan of Marvel. Come on! Who doesn't love those heroes with their super powers, saving-the world hearts and...and...hot bodies-cannot deny. However I don't think that is the only reason people keep paying time and money to have a seat at the cinema when Marvel movies on screen. The ultimate reason is Marvel allows us to be in a world with hope, the hope that things can change.
How many times you see your favorite hero with fatal wounds or even likely to die in an unescapable danger, but with their bravery and determination, they overcome the challenges, survive their enemies and win the final battle?
In the latest movies, Black Widow and her sister-Yelena, have a fight with the Taskmaster. Only two of them try to beat an army. It is hopeless. The only way to stop the mad jet dashing to them and sending them to death is to break its fan blades. Yelena is standing on that madding engine, she looks at her sister, looks down to the bloody ferociously spinning fan blades. Hell no! She is making a decision-to jump. Natasha yells deadly to stop her sister, you know what, Yelena yells back "It's gonna be fun".
Yeah, that's it. That's the cool attitude leads them to win.
I bring that moment to my life. Real life, of course, is not totally the same, our life is not well edited.
Our life is scarier! Although we don't have many "dead or alive" scenes, we have to face with our own fears.
The fear that stops you to be your true-self: what if people don't like the way you react, the way you dress or the way you express your emotions?
The fear that discourages you to follow your dreams: what if I fail? or my job is going to lead me nowhere or it's too hard, nobody will make a living that way?
Or, simply, the fear that tells you: it's too tiring and challenging for you to finish your work-out plans. The fear that shows you everybody else can do it but you.
Man! It scares the hell out me, all those moments, but I am not gonna let them win; I just can't allow them to win. And I remember: "It's gonna be fun".
Yesterday, I had a chance to join a volunteer activity to support people with cancer. Blossom-one of our member and a cancer patient as well, was planning to have her hair shaved. I came to say Hi to her with a careful frame of mind, I didn't want to stupidly say somethings that hurt her. Surprisingly, she greeted me with the brightest smile ever. She welcomed me to take part in the volunteer group, and cheerfully she said to me: "You will see it's fun".
Turned out, that is the way strong people see through their difficulties or that way of thinking makes them strong. In either way, it helps me a lot. When I am going to do something that seems fearful to me, I try to remind myself: "IT'S GONNA BE FUN".
Life is not easy, yet, life is fun. I don't know what struggles or burdens you are carrying, but I wish you all the courage and strength to go through it. Love you!
