Small House Series #1 - One-Bedroom House with Loft Exterior Design

in #ocd3 years ago

Are you planning to build your dream house on a very limited budget? If yes, well starting small is one way to go. However, being small doesn’t mean bad. With the right professionals to help you with good design and planning, you can achieve your very first home or even your dream house within the price you can afford (assuming you're not filthy rich😅).

Well, here is my exterior design of a 1-bedroom house with loft with not more than 112 m2 (1,205 ft2) of enclosed floor area suitable for tropical countries.

PERSPECTIVE 2.jpg

Located on a corner lot, this modern tropical house offers a master’s bedroom on ground level and a spacious loft on mezzanine. It also provides a one-car garage, a small porch, an open living and dining area, a separate water closet and shower room and an open kitchen with a small laundry area.

The architectural finishes feature simple stone cladding, textured paint, large windows, and wood finishes for modern but earthy look. Materials are specified and designed to adapt to tropical weather. By the way, I used Lumion 10.3.2. for rendering and SketchUp for 3d modelling.

This might be a small house, but it also has a modest 2 meters x 4 meters dipping pool perfect for kids.

For my next post, I will be posting the floor plans and interior design if you’re interested. Thank you!

Hi Sir @storiesoferne! 😊 I saw your reply too late 😩. I’m still familiarizing myself with hive and I noticed that it takes a lot of resource credits just to reply and post then take days to replenish. Anyways I will just try to comply with the guidance again next time on my next post and hope to be nominated ? 😅 Thanks a lot!

That's alright @architectkj, it's understandable for newbies here. For the time being, the Architecture+Design Community account (aplusd) has delegated a small amount of Hive Power (HP) to your wallet for you to be able to continue with Hive online actions. Would you mind answering the following questions:

  1. Who referred you to the Hive blockchain?
  2. Do you know other people on Hive? Do you have friends here?
  3. What are your present and future plans for the Hive?

Your answers to these important questions will help us understand your journey better and assist your growth on Hive. Please, you can call me ERNE. Thank you. 😊

Hi @storiesoferne! It's been a while again because of the holidays 😅. Anyways thank you so much! With regards to your questions, no one really referred me to hive but myself haha I read it though in the discord of splinterlands which I tried playing and research about it. I was also already familiar with "hive" since I trade crypto. I don't really know anyone personally here in hive but I look forward in referring it to some people I know who might be interested. As of now, I plan to post my architectural designs here on hive. I also look forward to sharing my travels, work and tv series/film reviews since I love to watch. There are so many possibilities. If you read my introduction, I called my journey here "going beyond" because it's beyond of what I usually do. I don't normally share and post in social media but in hive I think it's worth it. I'll be glad for your assistance and be guided on my journey here on hive. Thanks a lot sir Erne! 😄😄😄

Okay, I understand. Don't worry, you can consider me as your friend from now on. Thank you for sharing your personal story! Now that I know your side, one of the best and fastest ways for you to start growing on the Hive blockchain is by publishing content. This will add more Hive Power (HP) to your wallet and increase your reputation.

Do you know how to post directly to the Architecture+Design Community @architectkj?
