Colony

in #ocd3 years ago (edited)

The people of Mars had long been aware of the potential for life on Earth. For years, they had watched and studied the planet, and they had come to the conclusion that it could support life. They decided to send a team of explorers to Earth to see if it was habitable. The Mars explorers arrived on Earth and were amazed by what they found. The planet was teeming with life, and they soon realized that it was indeed habitable. They decided to stay and live on Earth.

The first thing that struck the Martians as they arrived on Earth was the colours. Everywhere they looked there were vibrant hues of green, blue and brown. As the settlers began to build their new civilisation on Earth, they found that many of the things they were used to on Mars were not possible here. For example, Mars has a very thin atmosphere, so the Martians had never needed to wear clothes before. On Earth, however, the thicker atmosphere made it necessary to wear clothes to keep warm. The Martians also had to learn how to grow food on Earth. They were used to eating food that had been grown in artificial conditions on Mars, so they had to start from scratch by learning how to farm. They quickly set up colonies on Earth and began to exploit its resources. As more and more Earthlings came to live among the Martians, the two cultures began to merge, and a new, hybrid civilisation began to emerge.

The Martians had always been a dying race. For generations, they had tried to find a new home, but their resources were slowly dwindling. Finally, they made the decision to colonise Earth. The humans were not pleased to see the Martians. They were a strange, alien race, and the humans did not trust them. However, the Martians were desperate, and they soon made themselves at home on Earth. The two races managed to co-exist for a time, but it was not easy. The Martians were not used to the climate on Earth, and they slowly began to die off as the humans watched as the once-mighty race dwindled away to nothing.

And then, one day, the last Martian died.

The humans were not sure what to do. They had never really gotten along with the Martians, but they had still been a part of their lives. Now, they were gone. Slowly, life on Earth began to return to normal. The humans went about their lives, and the Martians were soon forgotten.

The end.
