Filtering Out

in #ocd3 years ago (edited)

I've always been fascinated by how we pay attention to the unimportant things in life and often seem to lose sight of what we really need to pay attention to and what's important. Maybe it's human nature, maybe we are very easily distracted, or maybe social media just became too influential. In the world we live today, when things are happening so fast it's hard to devote our interrupted attention to what's going on around us. It seems to me the more I read, the more I'm confused by all the different points of view. Everyone has their own agenda, and who am I to judge.

Sometimes a single picture can really tell a thousand words, even more, it can translate into emotions and feelings. If we simplify things, maybe we can simplify our understanding. That's not to say to ignore everything and concentrate only on a single thing, but rather understand that often or not the simplest answers are the clearest and most straightforward ones. We need to be able to filter out the noise and see things for what they truly are.
