I have been working on implementing MFA across many of our key systems for a while now. I just had a huge server migration, so I also reworked the way we back things up and I have a new continuity plan in place to keep us running. Depending on the issue, I think I could have us back up and running within an hour or two should something happen.
That's quiet quick, well implemented :) . We also have MFA in place, we have a time-limit of maximum 9 hours the MFA stays cause of the work in healthcare. So they don't have to login every single time.
I do three days for my MFA. I had to find a good balance of being safe and totally ticking off all my end users! We are pretty small, so I only have a couple of pieces of host hardware and then all my virtual machines under that.
