Hello everyone welcome to my blog,
My name is Gift Johannah Samuel am from the southern part of Nigeria, am the second child of 4 girls, from a family of six (now five) and this is my official introductory post.
I like writing, reading, cooking, dancing and listening to good music, one thing I would say I do all the time is writing, growing up as a teenager and as an introvert writing was the best way I conveyed my feelings and anything I was anxious about I just wrote it down it helps me remain calm and i often feel refreshed after writing.
Reading was a hubby I picked up later in life as I grew into an adult as a child I often saw my dad reading at night, he always find time to study and watching him as a child I decide to see what he find so interesting in those books.
Most times I'll sneek into my parent's room to read the books when my parents were at work
Gradually I began to develop a likeness for reading I often look forward to reading a new book.
Over the years I've improved in myself and my communication skills, cause we all know that you can't achieve great things by remaining in your comfort zone, I try to reach out to people and doing so I've met amazing people and made good friends that have impacted positively in my life.
After my secondary education I acquired some skills that would help me navigate through life and be a source of income, my dad would always emphasize on the the importance of acquiring a skill and later on in life as you'll read in my post you'll see how these skills had been of help to me.
My favorite dish is fried rice, chicken and salad, I like this dish because of the veggies in it. I feel like it contains all the nutrients I need and it's easy to prepare, am looking forward to showing you all how I prepare my favorite dish step by step.
First I was enrolled in a computer training program where I gained basic knowledge of Microsoft, excel, PowerPoint presentation and a lot of other interesting knowledge that came with the training section after the training I also went on to acquire another skill as a fashion designer
It was a very detailed training it was for a duration of 2years
This training cost 80,000 and it was intensive I was really excited about this training because I've always had an eye for fashion designing.
After my training as a fashion designer I started work with house of launi as a fashion designer it's was interesting, fun, and stressful at the same time especially because I had to work for a long period of time to meet deadline.
I worked as a designer for some 3 years and later venture into working remotely as an SEO with Appen, thanks to the been a computer literate early in life I didn't find it challenging to work remotely .
Working remotely gave me time to continue pursuing my other area of interest and to school at the same time.
Am currently schooling at National Open University of Nigeria am looking froward to bagging a degree in Information Technology
My sister @goodysam introduced me to this platform she said since you like writing this is an opportunity for you to put your idea out there, am looking forward to learning from you all and am also using this medium to ask for guidance.
We'll get to learn and impact positively in each other.
My blog would be all about tech, fashion and lifestyle.
This is just scratching the surface about me
