I named this drawing "Just bee". It is finally finished. 33 hours of work. I started it at the beginning of april and finished it on 2nd of may. I really loved the process of bringing to life this little bee. Because I have experienced difficult times during quarantine, facing it alone far from family and with an agitated personal life, I feel that this bee was like a little friend that I kept on going back to. Dot by dot.
I felt relaxed and it helped me keep my focus, concentrated to finish it. I worked the most at the fluffiness of the bee. Everybody loves a fluffy bee hihi
I feel proud I did this bee during quarantine. It was a test of resilience. Most of all, I think that discovering hive played a big role for me. Being alone in quarantine, with no family for support, I really felt a bit of joy knowing I will get a feeling of genuine human connection by sharing my art/feelings/pictures here. That is why it was very important for me to stay here,on an emotional level, I could not accept this being taken away from me.
Isn't it somehow interesting that I discovered hive in tough times and also I had a bee for an art project exactly now? Bee... Hive.... Hihihi

This is so cool! Pointillism - I certainly have no patience with that. We did that in art school and I got REALLY bored with it after 30 minutes. Lol
