A black & white photo of me smiling
Hello Hivers!
Okay, no one's really asking, but I guess it's time to share this, I was supposed to come up with this post yesterday but due to tight schedule I wasn't able to.
I'm just going to go straight to the point.
Lately I've been making some drastic changes in my life, and I'm here to share with you what that is about.
First, I'll share a quick detail about myself once again on this chain.
My full name is Jesse Gideon Omokhagbor, I'm from Nigeria, and I'm from a family of five kids, I'm the first child and only son of my parents, I'm 20 years old, although I'll be having another birthday soon this August, also, I'm a student of the federal University of technology Minna, as a student of Statistics.
Oh I'm glad you're still with me, thank you.
Like I said I'll go straight to the point.
I made a decision that "I want to learn how to code."
Yeah you heard me right haha
Basically I've had interest in tech for a long time now, growing up as an Android user, I've always been looking for means to tweak my device, software-wise, I do use command prompt, flash my devices if they ever got bricked, change to a custom ROM whenever I get bored with the stock UI, interesting right, well I know it's just a small piece of tech in general, don't make fun of me haha.
And I sing too as well, yeah I've always been this singer from childhood and i sing well I'll say, so if you got any song for me or something you want me to hop on then just call me.
The Code Journey
Decided to chase the Tech Life, by learning to code, I know for sure I'll be able to create softwares and solutions to solve people's problems in the nearest future.
Things have not really been smooth for me, as most of the time I support my family with every penny I have, coupled with my academics, that's a whole lot of hustle going on for me, sometimes it gets overwhelming.
So I started somedays ago fully, with freecodecamp.
freeCodeCamp is a non-profit organization that consists of an interactive learning web platform, an online community forum, chat rooms, online publications and local organizations that intend to make learning web development accessible to anyone.
And learning the basics of web development has been fun.

That's my laptop but it's kind of desktop PC now (only a few will understand the term), which simply means the battery is bad and I only get to use it when there's electricity, as we tend not to have electricity here all the time either.
While I used to blog about a few things on here before, I wouldn't be doing most of it this time, here's what I thought would be better.
As I go through my learning process everyday I'll write a blog about some things that I've learnt and some questions or things I found difficult to understand, or better still how my day went.
I believe we have programmers and developers in this community, I'll really appreciate if you support me by helping me in anyway possible, with resources, books, articles and of course friendship, yes I need all of it.
Even if it's just two seconds of your time to check out my blog or post to help me get better in understanding everything I've learnt or maybe an idea of getting better in one aspect or the other, honestly I'll be very very grateful.
Wow I'm glad you made it this far to my post, thank you.
I know my blogging is too much of a mess right now though, but I'll really appreciate if you just cope with me till I learn how to properly organize my blog and my posts too.
I'm open for criticism, correction and encouragement, I'll really appreciate any that comes my way.
