Hello and good morning all,
I missed out on posting yesterday because I'm at an event for the weekend. Will share my experience after it's over but today I'd like to share a piece I just recently finished up.
A lab mix dog portrait...
Here he is all chainsaw, I set him aside to dry for a while..couple months so he could crack and I can fix him before being shipped out. I find that customers are much happier when their sculptures don't split.
Here you see the cracks are filled with shims and gorilla glue. Shaved them off to get ready for burning..
Here he is burned with the torch..
Then flapsanded the char off, getting ready for paint.
Finished him off with black and white using the airbrush.
The customer loves him...now to varnish, crate and ship him out to Wyoming.
I'd like to thank you all for looking and seeing what I saw. I love what I do and I'm happy to share here on Peakd. There's more to come so stay tuned.
Thanks again,
Jon
