Hello and good morning all,
Today I'd like to share a piece I carved in the beginning of last year for the year of the dragon.
I was born in the year of the dragon and I love carving them when I get a chance.
Here it is in the raw and chainsaw only..
After some detailing with the dremel...
I was contemplating adding it to a body to make a full dragon...a good customer claimed it and said they liked the bust and didn't need the body.
So I added some shadows with the airbrush...
Here's a close up...
Customer wanted it colored so some green was added via dry brush after varnish was applied. Shipped it out not long after, to a very happy customer.
