I’ve been hitting up CrossFit 🏋️♂️ lately, and while it’s been a great way to challenge my body and push my limits, there’s something about the traditional gym that I really miss. Don’t get me wrong, the high-intensity workouts, the quick sessions, and the camaraderie at CrossFit have been awesome. It’s a different kind of thrill when you’re racing against the clock and trying to beat your personal bests. But after a few trainings of it, I realized I’ve been missing the classic weightlifting sessions – that focused grind, the solitude of lifting heavy, and just getting back to the basics. There’s a different kind of satisfaction that comes from pushing heavy weights and seeing those gains come through.
So, it’s time for a switch-up! I’ll be diving back into the gym, hitting the weights hard, and making the most of every session. The goal now? Build strength, put on some serious muscle, and just build a routine that always was a problem for me.
It’s going to be tough, starting over with the weights after so much time focusing on functional fitness, but I’m ready for it. No more excuses, just hard work and consistency. Time to see what I’m really made of. Let’s get it! 💥🔥
Consistency is key!
