The wise move slowly, meticulous, not quick to speak, not slow to listen. Yet, in contrast, the more experienced they are, the quicker they solve problems. They take time to see things from other’s point of view, even if they aren’t in agreement. They are tolerant: they can agree to disagree, rather than impose what they think is right. In a world that encourages convergence of thought, the wise see the value of diversity. The current state of unrest and intolerance can only be attributed to a culmination of unwise assumptions and decisions made over a long period of time.
