OCD DAILY - Issue #155
Welcome to the 155th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #155 highlights content from ten (10) Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues it's search throughout Steemit to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators, under our fearless leader, @acidyo, have found you ten new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are provided by newer Steemit users, that may not have the audience which their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to help provide that audience, and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
I bet @saywha didn´t know who Lord Nurgle was until he found the post by @terrorfirma. This amazing drawing - made only by pencil - is a true work of art. It is always nice to have artists being featured in our comp, make sure to check out this post!
If you´ve watched any Thor movies you know about the guardian of Asgard, but you probably don´t remember his name or that he sees past, future and present. Well, @hadialhendi goes deep into his origins and brings us a very well written post found by @mk40 about this Nordic god. Read the post, but watch out for the thunders.
@dawnsheree lives in a Paradise. We all know South East Asia holds many secrets and hidden gems, and luckily @howtostartablog found this post where a local - which is the best person to tell us about it - shows us first hand what, how and where to go to some places within this amazing country.
One of the best ways to inspire yourself to write stories is to look at drawings made by someone else, why? Because they hold emotions within themselves, and the way you interpret them is where the magic lies and @gmuxx, being a writer himself, knows it. @makesomething gave us the best example with this short story that, if you take the 10 minutes to read it, will give you a different perspective of our society a-la-George-Orwell in a sci-fi scenario.
@geke, as 90% of us, knows about debt and its social and economic implications but, to read a post like the one @penston has for us today, really puts things into perspective. An impartial, yet very true analysis of how being in debt plays a mayor role in your development as a person within our current social standards and position in our society.
@aonekochii, as every artist in the world, know that practice makes perfect, and if you want to continue growing and becoming a better artist, you have to start early in the year. @jznsamuel found this astounding anime step by step drawing and the curators decided it is to be featured here, want to know why? Click below to find out how the user made this work of art.
Are you in a relationship or are you a sucker for love? Well @elteamgordo curated the best post for you today by @eatworthy. Getting engaged is always terrific news for the people involved and everyone around them and this user found the best way to do it in Tokio.
Another great piece of art, this time discovered by @thethirdeye and made by @soulart based on a "Natural" subject. The face of a woman au naturale. This step by step process will have you amazed when you finished reading/admiring this post.
The words 'welfare', 'medicare', 'medicade', are terms that are being used more and more. Along the Universal Basic Income is the SSD (Social security disability) and fixed income in terms of being something that in theory sounds good but in reality it... well, i will let you read this post about it by @doctorjhon found by @gniksivart but be ready to get a reality check right here.
The contest made by @anomadsoul brought many different experiences of steemians celebrating a new year. The health system never rests and @poppyyuli knows perfectly this reality. Helping someone to give birthin New year´s eve is one of the most beautiful things i´ve read on Steemit and I bet you will too.
We hope you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from these content posts, as provided by the @ocd curators.
Use the 'ocd-resteem' tag on quality, original content for a chance to be selected.
