OCD DAILY - Issue #170
Welcome to the 170th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #170 highlights content from ten (10) Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steemit to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found you ten (10) amazing pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are provided by newer Steemit users, that may not have the audience which their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to help provide that audience, and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes are tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
The top nomination of the day is present to you by @jznsamuel and made by @alexeyvoron. He is a passioned photograph and wanted to take some picture of some Steller's sea eagles, a kind of bigger version of the american national eagle. But it is not so easy as you might think to take a picture of such a majestic bird, there are many think that must be prepared in advance. And so he explains us in his post everything he done before the expedition to finish of with the final shots of the eagles.
There is real problem in world and it is us! We are destroying the nature around us even if some "president" deny this, we are the greates threat to our planet. In the following post by @yulem he explains us how we destroy "our" soil and what can we against it. He cover all kind of human soil destruction from deforestation agricultural practices and realy tryes to put attention on this ever growing problem. This was curated by @geke.
Our third nomination today was found by @guyfawkes4-20. The post he found was made by @randr10 where he speaks about his solution to the Mexican and American drug problem, but since I don't realy like his opinion on this subject, I will just say that more guns are not a sulotion against guns.
Next comes the introduceyourself post from @penxelstudio, a adventurer and medien designer. He shortly narats us his life story in his post that was discoverd by @ma1neevent. It is very interesting read about his life as freelancer and maybe make you wish to also become one. I think he realy deserve a hello from the ocd community, so go to his post and leave a comment.
The internet loves cats , everyone loves and secretly they even rule the world. But what is better then a cat, maybe food, but no, @thebunbun made the ultimate creation. She combined a cat and a cinnamon bun to create the greates thing ever created and the lucky person to found that was @m31.
Do you have to much steemit money (cough @acidyo cough) ? Are you already throwing it around you? Then this post is made for you, because with the advise from @kennik you will be able to make fancy jet fighter out of your 100$ bill to throw them even further. Maybe even to Germany to my home, I wouldn't complane about it. Maybe you would also like to throw them to @mrslauren because she was the one who curated this post.
Today we also get an update from @tanglebranch on how her farm is going. She explains in her post how she sheared some sheep the last weekend. That wasn't so easy as she planed, because of reasons you will know after reading her post that was curated by @gmuxx.
For every sea and fish fan the SEA LIFE museums are one of the greates place to go. You can find some everywhere around the world, but one of the bigest one is located in Sydney. @joyjoyharb went there with his family and made a post about it. In this post he shares with us some interesting quotes, some beautiful picture and even some videos that show us the beauty of the sea life you can have a look on there. If you follow the link bellow you can get to this amazing post discoverd by @elteamgordo.
Because a little bit of philosophie and motivation talk can never be made, @mk40 presents you today the post of @spilwayne. He experienced a injury that made him imobile for 2 month, after that he had a great depretion and was thinking about what he became. In his post he explains how he came back from this fall and how he now sees all this events that happend to him.
Our final article for today's issue is an other introduceyourself post, but this time from @alexphuah who is also a designer like our other presented new comer. He is also a photograph and freelancer who already in his first post shares with us some amazing picture he took. This introduction post was found by @howtostartablog.
We hope you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from these posts, as provided by the @ocd curators.

Thank you for nominating my post! So grateful to be appreciated.
Thanks to you! Keep steeming!!
Great curator's work, I'm gonna try the origami plane. Thanx for sharing.
yes great pick for @yulem's post! It's a very important message. Everybody please give it a look <3
thanks for the feature. I appreciate how you guys consider beginners here in steemit and appreciate their effort.
You put a lot of work. Nice
I admire the role you guys play in curating work.. but some of this is poorly written (both on THIS post and in the work you're curating).
With websites like grammarly, there is no excuse any more.
I'd love for higher quality (if it means fewer posts getting curated, so be it) work to be promoted here. It seems minnows are getting pats on the back for substandard work.
Don't get me wrong, there has been some great work curated here, but its becoming quite hit and miss.
_nick
Thanks for pointing the spelling mistakes!
Thanks, OCD. Thanks for replying and take care :)
_Nick.
How posts are written and if the grammar is correct does not equal to the quality of the post.
Take that up with bots selling votes to any content.
How post are written is a HUGE contributor to the quality of the post. This is a ridiculous statement. That's like watching a video of someone muttering and grunting at the camera and claiming that it doesn't affect the video quality.
What a stupid thing to say. I stand by my original post. I purchase votes for my content because it deserves it. I go over it with a fine toothed comb to ensure it is high quality work. Now, will everyone enjoy or relate to it ? No. Will everyone agree with my opinions? I don't expect them to. What I hope is that someone comes into my work understanding what I mean and what the purpose of the article is about - through grammar, spelling and punctuation- and proof reading!
However, when you can't even have enough respect for your audience to bother to edit your work and re-read it, that's where I draw the line. It's disrespectful and a slap in the face to anyone who has take the time in their life to learn how to read.
Let's EDIT people!
_Nick
Good. I don't believe that a few grammatical mistakes here and there alter the quality of the post all that much. The posts are often about a number of diverse things such as art, music, introduction posts, etc.
Are you saying an artist who has a great amount of talent is posting low quality posts because he hasn't been able to learn proper grammar?
You wrote your signature with a low case N earlier, btw and you write your titles with upper case on each word, what a stupid thing to do.
_bye
Talk about nit-picking.
If you're happy reading substandard work, that's your prerogative. I won't be upvoting a post that has glaring errors within the first sentence.
Grammar and punctuation aren't the only factors but often go hand in hand with work that isn't proof read and often doesn't make sense in parts.
Your rudeness isn't earning an upvote. I'm simply being objective with possibly a little bit too much passion.
Indeed, so annoying, right?
I wasn't the one that started off with being rude, I told you my opinion on grammar and that I don't think it matters all too much how curators from all over the world write these posts - it's the content and nominations they are promoting that matter which most of the time aren't about writing but diverse content.
Oh no, I was really hoping you'd buy me an upvote.
You had to have your two cents.
Actually, you didn't need to reply to my comment at all. I was commenting on OCD's post, not yours.
Some people can't help but need their voices heard as reactionary responses to another's commentary.
It might just be time to leave this thread alone. You've more than had your say and enoughs enough.
Thanks for the conversation.
Congrats to all the nominees.
It's a very important message! I congratulate
OCD is doing a great job. However, I hope to be featured one day on this platform.keep up the good work
