OCD DAILY - Issue #180
Welcome to the 180th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #180 highlights content from ten (10) amazing Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steemit to find undervalued gems created by relatively new users.
Today our curators present you with ten (10) amazing pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steemit users that may not have the audience their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to help provide the user with that audience through our followers, and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to produce creative, original content.
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece is submitted to the @ocd team, curator votes are tallied and the pieces with the most votes for each issue are added to the compilation post.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
All the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by the curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
For our top nomination we have an insightful article by @lymepoet about her experience of being a mom in her work life. Many women who are about to become a mother are discriminated by their employers on their ability to preform the work. She shares her experiences and frustrations about this and she argues why this stereotyping is not true.

For our next nomination we bring you afternoon doodles made by @marcusstudley1. Because of the snow of England this artist is locked up at home unfortunately. But lucky for us he was able to make a few funny looking doodles! You can see he let his imagination go! Thank you for giving making me smile marcusstudley1!

Our next nomination will be appreciated by our Star Wars fan. Although I don't have much affinity with Star Wars I can appreciate what he found. In this post @spacetrucker shows his 1938 Rancor figure he bought in Rome. For all the SW fans out there have a look at his post that might bring back some childhood memories!

@angiechin28 shares with us a heartbreaking story about a cat (probably abbandoned) that she found. When she saw the cat with a round belly, it was immediately clear that the cat was pregnant at a late stage. In her story she tells us about how she took care of the cat, while she also give us insight about the hardships she has faced in her early life.

The next nomination of the day is also about snow! It seems the previous author is not the only one obsessed with the cold white. @catalincernat shows us amazing snow pictures of an area in Romania. According to her the area was filled with oil wells. For anyone who likes beautiful snow pictures, they should definitely check this post out!

The last post of the day by user @ilhuna, in which she gives us an educational post about photography. She teaches us how to take advantage of the grid panel, that most photographers don't know about. If you want to improve your photography skills you might want to read ilhuna's post!

Thank you..thank you!!! I wish to thank @howtostartablog and @futurethinker for featuring our Booty's life story! She's our pet now, no more hard days for her out there.
Fantastic curation yet again OCD! I have to say, it is winter where I live, but we've only had one snow ~ I'm a littler jealous of all those snow pics, even in South Africa?! ;) LOL
Yep, it does snow in South Africa :) - we even have a ski resort situated deep in the mountains! Take a look here for a rather detailed history of South African snow, and you'll see that it happens a few times each winter: http://snowreport.co.za/history-of-snow-in-south-africa-1853-2014/
all of your post is always so informative,so i regularly follow your blog. love to read it.....
All very good. I think the post founded by @futurethinker is quite inspiring.
Given the positive impact that Steemit is helping to create in poverty striken Philipines and Africa, it is believed that if we can promote Steemit across these lands (from small circles such as this) to large communities, the scale of poverty will suffer a drastic reduction.
Once again, thanks @ocd for the good work. Hoping to get nominated some day
Thank you for choosing my post!
I am amazed by the frequency and consistency with what you are able to discover all that high quality content!
Thanks for featuring my 'Snowbaru' adventure @ocd!
