OCD DAILY - Issue #314
Welcome to the 314th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #314 highlights content from ten (10)
Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found ten (10)
new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
Our top nomination of the day is from @ladysnowhite
This time it is about medieval festival organized in Serbia this weekend, battles, traditional music and knitting.
Our next nomination of the day is from @derekrichardson
Our next nomination of the day is from @codelikeamother
@codelikeamother describes his experiments with AWS DeepRacer, an autonomous toy race car from Amazon, trained to drive with machine learning. He shares resources, problems and findings as he learns and prepares for a race a AWS Summit in London next week.
Our next nomination of the day is from @marckospc
Unfortunelly personal failure is part of our daily life and when it takes over the positive news and events, all the people falls in a depression period: this happened to the author of this post who saw everything around him was going wrong, until a day when he watched a video with a fallen tree which is still alive and refuses to die. So he understood that "I'm down, but I flatly refuse to give up". From this point of view he knew that the failure was only in his mind and he would have had success if he wanted it!
This post is a deep analysis of how a state of mind can change just watching the world around you.
Our next nomination of the day is from @goodnode
Good Node is a self-taught digital artist from Australia who joined Steem little over a year ago and has been dazzling us with their original characters, creatures and stories. This time they present us with the grandmother character created for a story they shared with us during Christmas time. @goodnode includes a bit of creation process as well. Please, follow @goodnode for more original art and stories in the future since it is certain there will be more where this is coming from!
Our next nomination of the day is from @jayclar30
Our next nomination of the day is from @mudcat36
We all want to save money especially on groceries. @mudcat36 shows us ways they save money in the UK at different grocery stores. There are specific timings and strategies to look for at each. Do who wants to save some money??
Our next nomination of the day is from @toolanm
Do you procrastinate quite often? @toolanm might have the answer to help you overcome your procrastination. The author suggests, " One of the keys of moving past procrastination is to be okay with feeling the discomfort." Would you like to know more? visit her blog post and share your thoughts.
Our next nomination of the day is from @macoolette
@macoolette takes us with her and a friends on a trip through the Nation Museum on the Philippines. On this tour we get to know about the history and the culture of this wonderfull country through beautifull pieces of arts that cover whole walls or through some big spinings tops. If you also want to to discover a bit more about the history of the Philippines have a look at this post.
Our final nomination of the day is from @ayushjalan
Is romantic love superior to other kinds of love? @ayushjalan explores this topic - with references to his personal ideas and thoughts about love. "For me personally, I think romantic love should come after self-love, because like they say, you can't love someone else if you can't even love yourself." As he starts writing he already mentions this might be a question without a perfect answer - but that doesn't mean we should stop trying to!
We hope you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from these posts, provided by the @ocd curators.
