OCD DAILY - Issue #854
Welcome to the 854th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #854 highlights content from 10
Hive Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout OCD community to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
our curators found 10
new pieces of original content on OCD community! We strive to find works that are created by newer Hive users, that may not have the audience and the information about available communities that fits better for their content.
@OCD strives to help Hive users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content to find audience and the communities where their content would fit better.
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users) in the @ocd community within 24 hours. The curator will leave a comment to the user encouraging them to post in communities where their content would be a better fit.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Hivers your support and encouragement. And we'd like to remind you once more, don't forget, try and submit your content to the more appropriate communities before OCD unless you feel it doesn't belong in any and is original content that works with our rules.

To get to their place we travelled about an hour by bus. As we got off the bus, I noticed a new business establishment. The place was near a University and the area is where many students can find different boarding houses to stay in when face-to-face classes will start. One of the new business establishments is a laundromat. On my mind, I thought, so this is a laundromat. It was my first time seeing one. [Do I sounded like a caveman? Hahah] We don't have this in our town since we wash our own clothes either by handwashing or machine wash. I could see that life has become easier for people these days, especially for students. With this kind of business around, you don't have to tire yourself of doing the laundry. It saves you time and energy. Technology has made life easier. I wished we had this when I was in college. I could have used my time studying instead of washing my clothes. 😁

This month, the sky here is always seen with dark clouds and rain. The dark clouds seemed a sign of sadness, and the rain became tears of it. Even the rain is still awaited by all life on earth but sometimes becomes a flood disaster because we are not able to maintain its balance. We have cut down the trees that we have relied on to comfort the rain and restrain its anger, and day by day the mountains full of trees have been turned into buildings. We should learn a lot from this catastrophic event. Hopefully.

It is not new news that for Venezuela things are not easy at all, economic life, jobs and salaries are somewhat complicated. I have graduated from the Santiago Mariño University for many years, as a Civil Engineer and very rarely have I been able to find work in my profession.

Helloaa happy day morto all.... I hope you are well. After a few days together with my friends. I want to share with you what I experienced in a girls' evening, where we were exchanging knowledge and celebrating the birthday of one of my friends. We have several days planning a venture, each one of us has developed in a specific area. We are 3 friends, one works with facials, another with hair and eyebrow pigmentation and I work with manicure and pedicure and semi-permanent enamel.

Last night, I had dinner with Miyaki, who is my ex-student, and graduated in mid-2017. I postponed our dinner due to Covid and was finally able to meet up after syncing our time. Miyaki is one of the many student leaders that I work with closely for events or PR campaigns throughout their study life as I am the assigned lecturer to guide these students to organise events. That only means, I spend way more time with the leaders whether physically for meetings or on WhatsApp guiding them in their discussion and work.

but I think backward is good. Its peaceful. and TIME, that fly's by of fast (like a shoe that my mother throws at my brother) in the city, is much more calm and steady in villages. Its fascinating to see how people life their lives here, knowing that the world has evolved so much. but my thought is that these evolutions are separating us from other people. I'm not saying village life is perfect but its definitely more peaceful and calm by the chaos of city.

Many names are derived from it, such as flying, kite, parrot. It is composed of wooden rods or a bamboo tree. These rods are intertwined to create a kind of star and then wrapped in a paper that will prevent the passage of wind when it is held in the air. This is how we create our Flying Toy.

From the end of August to mid-September, after a long time, we were finally back in Málaga, in the very south of Andalusia, one of my absolute favourite cities, which, in addition to a beautiful beach and lots of sun, offers a rich cultural programme, from the Alcazaba to the Picasso Museum. In the centre, on wide promenades entirely in marble, life pulsates late into the night, and depending on your interests, you can choose to enjoy fruit or fish in the large Atarazanas market or parks full of exotic plants. Moreover, the transport infrastructure is very well developed with good train, flight and boat connections as well as a reasonably priced public transport system.

As we have told you, my sister is a pastry chef, very talented I tell you hahaha and after buying our oven for the first time in 20 years, we were going to bake a birthday cake in our home, we were all excited, so with time we started to organize our tasks and chores, on Sunday morning we went to the supermarket to buy the ingredients for the cake, it would be a classic vanilla cake with Italian meringue because my sister, in addition to making her cake, also had to study for a university exam , so he had to measure his time well.

Thanks for choosing my post!
Normally such kind of mention should lead to further activity like comments and upvotes (from which of course I already got more than enough).
However, that's not the case. In my opinion one of the reasons is that the curation window still favours fast autovotes over slow manual curation. Already after only 24 h curation is not as profitable as earlier upvotes anymore, and (as far as I am informed correctly) after 3 days it's worth even less.
Autovotes are fast by nature. They cost the 'curator' no time and energy at all. However, manual curation requires time. Many real manual curators can't take enough time for really seeking, reading and evaluating posts thoroughly more often than maybe twice or thrice per week. There is still no (financial) incentive to do that if it means that a big part of the discovered posts are older than two or three days already and thus upvoting them isn't really proftable anymore.
I know what we are having now is clearly better than that former ridiculous 5 minutes window for most profitable upvotes. Nevetheless, I think it's still not optimal. I simply see no reason why an early effortless autovote should lead to a higher curation reward than a conciously given manual upvote on a four days old post?
Thank you so much @ocd and for the curator's recommendation by @erikah. I get a lot of advice and lesson here. Blessing for all of you.
You're welcome and I'm glad to hear what we do is helpful. God bless you too and keep up the good work.
