Hello guys, it's been 2 months since the last time that I posted here in Hive. My current job really took most of my time and energy. So this vacation was just right in time and an advance 10th year anniversary gift for both of us being together.

We've been desiring to visit Baguio City many years ago and now it is so unreal to finally had a chance to see and actually feel the cold weather from the "Summer Capital of the Philippines".

So why we chose Baguio City as our destination?

First, considering the cold weather and the access on transportation from our current location up to our route is quite easy.

Second thing, we've been wanting to visit that place long time ago and right now we are able to save for expenses.

Third and last, my fiance wanted me to show how beautiful Baguio is. Definitely I already saw videos and photos of Baguio but experiencing to walk on streets of Baguio and to see it in person is worth the wait.

This is our personal journey, itinerary and expenses from bus ticket up to our accomodation. This blog will be divided by 3 parts so stay tune.😊

DAY 1

Jeepney ride from our house will took almost 2 hours before we arrived at the bus station. We already reserve a round trip bus ride ahead of time. One person seats worth 659 pesos.

Our time departure is exactly 11 in the evening and we will arrive at Baguio around 5 in the morning. Time travel took us 6 hours. This is the farthest and longest travel I ever had in my life and definitely my first time to experience a vacation like this.

The road is dark which is given since we are heading towards the steep road of Baguio around 3-4am. I was surprise and nervous while seing the dark road with lane lights that's give me clue how steep and high the road we are on.

Around 5 in the morning, we safely arrive and the freezing cold weather greets us right away. We walk few meters away from the bus station and look for some spot were we can eat our breakfast.

After we ate our breakfast I took this chance to have my first pose in this statue. Then we travel and visit this famous village in baguio called "Stobosa or Valley of Colors."

There is no entrance fee in this place. It has hanging bridge connected to enter the village and actually my first experience a hanging bridge. It's kinda frigthening when I felt the bridge is moving when someone is walking.

Underneath the hanging bridge is a river. It is relaxing to hear the sounds of the flowing water and the fact that I am now here and finally seeing and experiencing how it feels like to be out of town vacation.

For the next stop; "The Bell Church"

This is Chinese Temple and it is one of the list of tourist spot we plan to visit in our itinerary. We paid 20 pesos each for the entrance. Luckily the temple opens early that day because of the weekend and many tourist would visit this place.

We found this mini pond with fishes on it which caught my attention. Aside from that they created this dragon look like design.

You could also see the sun shines in that higher place. So far to 20 pesos entrance fee it is worth it ❤

So far this is just the start of our 2 day journey to discover and enjoy this place. I'm gonna continue our journey for the next blog. See yah😘
