I draw my mama as a simple token this Mother's Day

Let me share my portrait drawing of my mama as a simple token of appreciation this Mother's day. This is my 3rd time that I draw her.

She's not with us right now. She's livin' the freedom of being a widowed wife for 10 years. She was a hardworking mom for us way back when we are still kids. She's a kind of a mother that is strict and disciplinarian at the same time.

She always nags at my father or even on us when we did something wrong which I grew in that kind of nature. Honestly that's her strong personality. I wouldn't blame her for being that way 'cause she has all the burden in our family.

Now that were all grown up and adulting, she has this kind of thoughts of fear when she get old and weak. As of now she's turning 62 and I wanted to visit her where she lived right now. I'd still have 4 months left and wishing I could gave her some money to help her.

I've sent a message to her that we appreciate her sacrifices and that we love her. She's having a hard time right now. We were suspecting that she has some kidney stones. I feel so sad about it 'cause I am not able to support her in all. I constantly told her that she must stay healthy and positive.

So far, it is the fastest drawing that I ever made. It only took me 3 hours. I cannot say that it is perfect. For over 2 months of being off with drawing will have a huge difference.
