Carp or carp (Cyprinus carpio) is a freshwater fish that has important economic value and is widespread in Indonesia.
In Indonesia, carp began to be maintained around the 1920s. Goldfish found in Indonesia are goldfish brought from China, Europe, Taiwan and Japan. Until now there are 10 goldfish that can be identified based on their morphological characteristics.
Generally, the types of goldfish can be classified into two groups, namely consumption goldfish and ornamental goldfish. Types of goldfish for consumption are types of goldfish that are consumed or eaten by the public to meet the nutritional needs of animal origin. Meanwhile, this type of ornamental goldfish is generally used to fulfill inner satisfaction or for decoration (display) and maintained in garden ponds or aquariums.
